Here is my entry to this week’s photo challenge with the theme HOME:

????????

In our farmhouse nearby (more than 3 kms. away from home), there is also this meticulously constructed bird’s nest just on top of the trusses’ king post (pointed to by the yellow arrow) beneath the roof. I had instructed the farmhouse caretaker not to disturb the nest and allow the birds to lay their eggs therein until they are hatched. I feel that, just like us human beings, these birds should be free to raise their own families too.

What a beautiful HOME.!!

I hope to write for a cause someday but for now all I wanted really is to write for a cost and I haven't started yet, or better still, nobody wants to pay me :-)

  1. As a kid, one of my exciting memories is discovering nests. A few times I saw Maya bird nests around my mom’s garden. Great post.

Oh, you have Maya birds there too? There’s plenty of them here and they attack the rice fields so the rice farmers have to be on their guard all the time. I love to see you dropping by. Thank you.
