Weekly Photo Challenge: Infinite

“IN A NEW POST CREATED FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A PHOTO THAT SHOWS US A GLIMPSE OF THE INFINITE.”

“Infinite. We stumble upon it in things both big and small: on the beach, staring into the horizon; in the depth of a loved one’s eyes; or even drowning in the emptiness of space.”

I will take on: the beach. The beach is a long stretch of infinity. And stretching your eyes far beyond, one would always wonder at how sea and sky meet somewhere on the edge of infinity.

Here are infinite shoots of one of my favorite beaches on the Island City of Samal- a resort city adjacent to Davao City, Philippines.

The Island Garden City of Samal is a known tourist attraction in Mindanao. It is mostly known for its white sandy beaches and crystal clear blue waters, one of the many good reasons why a number of beach resorts abound in this beautiful island south of the Philippines.

Of the newest beach resorts in Samal and no doubt one of its beautiful beach resorts is the Secdea Beach Resort located at San Isidro, in the village of Babac. Although the beach resort is new and just recently opened for business, it has already earned quite a number of good reviews from local and foreign tourists not only because of its white sandy beaches but also because of its high-class accommodation and amenities.

Its Infinity Restaurant is always an ideal place to dine in and is something to look forward to when visiting this beach resort. It is called Infinity because it gives diners the perfect view of the resort’s huge infinity pool that opens widely to the beach, the city of Davao and the lush mountain backdrop beyond. If you just want to laze around the beach resort the Mangrove Area of Secdea is a great place to wade through. Visitors can walk through the wooden bridge that stretch through the thick mangrove trees where they can see different species of fish and other wonderful creatures living in the mangroves.

Secdea Beach Resort may be the youngest but it sure would make great waves with its incredible and sheer amenities and accommodations.
