This is the most practical way to do during an earthquake. The “duck and cover” technique we’ve been taught before is terribly flawed. With a 7.2 magnitude quake that hit Central Philippines on October 15, 2013 where many buildings had collapsed, I am reblogging this post. The victims may no longer find this earthquake tips useful after the disaster was over but they surely teach us some important lessons and open our eyes to proven and tested techniques on how to get better chances at survival during a strong quake. This is indeed new and timely information.
Might I Add: As a pre-statement, before you read this post, I want you to know that this article was written by someone else. I am not advocating that it is the only way to avoid danger during an earthquake, but I certainly think it is important to be aware of all possible actions to take to keep yourself safe.
