“Every good photograph needs a focal point. It’s the thing that draws the viewer’s eye and tells the story. This week, we want to see photos that focus on one thing. Maybe you’ve got a stark photo of a single tree silhouetted against the setting sun, or a lone sandpiper wandering the beach as waves crash. Perhaps you’ve caught your mother sitting by herself in a moment of quiet contemplation. Maybe you saw a basket of wriggling puppies, and got a photo with a single fuzzy face in focus.”
“This week, in a post created specifically for this challenge, show us ONE.” –Michelle
Most Christmas lights and sights have either the Nativity or Santa Claus as the focal point.
I was driving along the Cotabato-Davao national highway one evening when I saw this array of holiday lights. One can easily tell which one is the focal point in the first photo.
And you have rightly pointed out. The one and only Santa is the focal point here.
The holiday lights are always fascinating to me. Apart from their magical foray they also brighten up the yuletide season and give so much hope.
“May your Christmas be merry and bright. And may all your Christmas be white.” (From the song I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas).
