Photo Challenge: Contrasts

“Light and dark, tall and short, happy and sad, etc.” Anything opposite each other could be a contrast.

In this photo I took from Plantation Bay Resort in Cebu City, Philippines, please help me identify some “contrasts” because there are more than one of them here.

Here are some contrasts I see in this photo:

1. light and shadow;

2. dark green and light green;

3. splash and serenity: the splashing water on the right and the serene calm hut on the left;

4. black and white: the roof of another hut on the top left; and

5. dream and reality: every one of us dreams for a quiet, serene and tranquil place like this until one day we just found this reality somewhere. Please stop thinking that this dream could only be fulfilled in a foreign land. You will be surprised to see your dream and passion for a place like this is not too far away from where you stay.

Enjoy these contrasts.

I hope to write for a cause someday but for now all I wanted really is to write for a cost and I haven't started yet, or better still, nobody wants to pay me :-)
