“We often superimpose a mental grid over things we photograph to help with composition. This week, let’s go literal.” – Michelle W.
Here is mine:
This is the stair landing going to the second floor of our house.
And this is the one that leads to the viewing deck at the rooftop.
What is more interesting about all these is that they were designed by me and the welder is my son-in-law. I like our partnership because we both learn from each other. I’ve learned the basic concepts of welding and I can do welding job now. He was also learning fast the rudiments and concepts of design as in: symmetry, balance, variety, movement and overall impact.
You hold a huge talent within your soul!!!

What fun to work with your s-i-l! The two of you do great work. Haven’t seen you around for some time. I hope all’s well.

I am sorry Janet. It’s true I wasn’t really around for quite a while and I am missing you guys. I’ve been quite busy with work such as preparing for our town’s anniversary celebrations- a two-week affair that culminates on Sept. 29; teaching in the graduate school on weekends, handling two big organizations: our school alumni association and the Doctors Club. I feel I am working 8 days a week. I hope I will have enough time after this to keep my blog back in circulation.
Thank you, Janet.
